Took a quick trip east to check out the Scamp factory. Hard not to miss driving through Baxter.
Rode a couple hours at Cuyuna since we were in the area. Jake and I rode there a year ago, but not everything was open. I made effort to try and ride everything and pretty much did that in just over 2 hours, riding about 25 miles. Some trails were not open because of hard rain a few days earlier in the week and some erosion had occurred. Now looks like it is closed entirely from the big rains earlier this week.
Super cool place to ride for sure with some great vistas and fun sweeping bermy downhills. Fun to hit up once or twice a year but personally prefer the more raw trails that are have no signage or maps. The trails are a bit over signed for my taste and the caution signs tend to come right at the sharp turns or challenging spots. The area is seeing a ton of traffic and is good for getting new people in to the sport and very rider friendly. If you haven't check it out yet, definitely need to make a visit.
