Lake Jump

The lake jumping season didn't start out so well. But, here we are the end of June, days getting shorter and it has been a pretty incredible summer so far. As long as the humidity is in check, I don't mind the heat even though Winter, Spring and Fall are the tops.

Ice was off early so we were able to put the dock in early. The dock went in but we had issues with the wheels. Our neighbor do everything Dan who puts in and takes out like 500 docks each year came over with his custom made pontoon boom to fix things up.

The repair process wasn't pretty at times and lets just say glad Dan didn't go to the hospital.

In the repair process, the old jump took a hit.  Jake and his friend Ethan found some time before graduation to build a new and better one with a bit more height.

A week or so before graduation, the jump was put on the rebuilt dock and a perfect night on order to test it out for the first time. Ethan going off first.
 Jake soaring.

Jake, 360.

Sun setting on another beautiful evening.

This week, Jon and I finally went off for the first time and shot a little video catching the action. Good summer fun! Jess also went off this week and so far, to the best or our knowledge, is the only female to go off. Jess was state champ in gymnastics so looking forward to seeing some big time stunts once she gets a few runs in.
