A Jay and Jonell trip has been long overdue. A mostly open week during a busy fall was avail last week so a short notice trip to northern California. Not much on the agenda other than relaxing, enjoying the beautiful ocean and interesting desolate beaches, bit of hiking in the deep forests capped off with some good eats.
Can't go wrong with a cafe called Bicyclette!!
Most everything "cooked" in a wood fired oven. Lightly fried than baked french Toast.
Wood fired fresh strawberry tort with home made ice cream. Never had anything like this before and possibly best ever dessert.
Kale consumption is on the rise. Tastes much better than look.
Jonell blown away by the big succulent bushes.
Guy has this pet parrot apparently okay with no means of "leashing".
Checking out the California Coast.
Hiking near Big Sur state forest. No, I wasn't thinking how awesome this would be on a mountain bike.
Totally expected in Cali.
