How did this come to be? I guess you have to be registered to post a comment so I did so I could post a comment on Eric Oftedals blog. Anyways, I'll try to post some updates on what is happening around here. I guess it will be a good thing for family and friends to see pictures of the kids and what not.

Today was a beautiful September day in the northwoods. I got some stuff done at the lodge so I decided I would go for a ride late morning. I rode from Maplelag to Pinehurst, where Jonell's parents have a cabin. I rode on the Mary Yellowhead, to Rat Lake trail, to CO RD 35, on 113 a bit, then on Sawmill Lake rd then cut over on some four wheeler trails before turning around and coming back. It was awesome around Tulaby lake. I used to ride more up there when we were at the cabin but the four wheelers have kind of screwed up the trails. Later this month I would like to get a bunch of people together and ride from Pinehurst to Maplelag and see what folks think about a point to point race I might try to organize next year. The biggest problem I see is finding a date. Anyways, I love this time of year. Still pretty warm but cool nights and getting that much closer to winter. I can hardly wait.

The kids had their second day of school. Yesterday Jake got in the wrong line so he had to have the salad bar. Today much better and he had pizza. Jon said he was chased by 8 girls which isn't surprising. Jack loves his teacher. We don't know what it will be like to have just Jens because he is with my Dad in ND getting rocks for the new barbeque/warming house near the cabooses. He just called and said the trailer broke down so they had to leave the trailer in Jamestown and should be home tonight. Bummer. My dad always overloads the trailer and usually had 6-8 blowouts. Crazy.

Thats enough for now. I will try to figure out how to post some photos later. Jake was catching some huge air tonight with his mountain bike at the bmx track and I will take some pics tomorrow.
