This is our cat Sal. We orginally name it Sally (came from a farm near Lake Sally, Detroit Lakes) but we found out it was a boy so we changed the name to Sal. Jonell said she hadn't heard of any boys named Sal but I said there was a writer for USA Today that covered the Tour De France so it was all good. The cat is about as restless as me. Here it was climbing the screen chasing bugs on the outside. I tried to snap a photo when he fell but missed it. Jonell took Jens and Jake down to the cities and Jonell and Jake went to the MNSCS awards party. Jake called tonight and said he won a bunch of stuff so that was cool. He got to hang out with Brady and Shea one more time. I hung back at the lodge with Jon and Jack and covered the bases there. Tomorrow night we are all going to go camping on the Island. No tent. Sleeping out in the open. As long as it doesn't rain we will be okay. I am sure there will be some good stories, especially with Jens along. Not sure if we will bring Lucky. We have to take the boat and probably will have to use a canoe as well to get out to the island. I will try to work on the blind a bit and get it ready for duck hunting. I have talked to a few locals and they said there are lots of ducks around but now it is rez season so all the local ducks will move out now they have been shot at. It has been one week since Cheq. and I haven't been on the bike. I was going to do the cross race in MHD on Wed. but that was when we thought Jack and Jon were lost so I missed out. Think will take another week off then start running and do a little cross for fun. Hopefully we will be skiing in six weeks!!
