I finally got the cross bike set up and went for a ride for the first time in two weeks. I took the road rims from my 5200 and put some cross tires on. I switched the pedals over, put a old mtb seat on and some old brake pads from one of the bmx bikes and good to go. I got the frame from Croll back in the day when I was flying their colors. Hopefully on Wed. I can make it to Johnson Park MB and dice it up with the Fargo crossers. Today was too warm. I spent most of the day inside, keeping busy at the lodge. Thats just fine as I rather be outside when it is 50 degrees and drizzly like it should be this time of year....but looks like later in the week things will start cooling down. Crazy. We had frost on Thurs morning and today it was almost 80. I talked to some of our farmer friends and since there hasn't been a frost around Callaway and what not, the corn isn't drying out like they would like so this warm air with a breeze is good for them.
