Jon and I at the rink for open hockey. We skated for about a hour and a half. Good fun. Probably will start "old timers" hockey this week. Came home and watched last quarter of Vikes game which has to be one of the more exciting ones in a while. I usually don't bother. After the game, Jake, Jon, Jack and I played football. Still some snow left from early this morning in our front yard and it was crusting up so some good sliding and diving.

After running slants, fade aways, and quick outs, I did the sweetest 30 minute ride I have done in a long long time. I don't know why but I was just amped.Maybe because it might be the last ride in a while with this potential snow coming or I only had 30 minutes so I just cranked.... I did this 5 minute loop that was half snow covered half not. I went down Suicide Hill which was snow covered and had no control but I just bombed it. At the bottom there was no snow so I could hook up and make the turn but no brakes. It was advance bike handling 401. I was bummed to miss the cx race today but I looked at some pics on Bruce's site and hardly anyone is smiling. I had way too much fun on that ride. Nice way to kinda end the ride season because it leaves me itching for more. This evening Jonell, my parents and Debbie the cook went to North Country. Wow, pretty intense movie. One of the characters looked like one of the ski hutters. I think it was Brady. Maybe he was a extra or something. What a day. This watch has me all jazzed and the possibility of grooming this week!!!
