Jens enjoying the frosting on the cake. I told Jonell I would do the town run today, picking the boys up and taking Jon to hockey and picking Jake up from skiing cuz this warm weather makes me go nuts. The kids were classic in the car. Jack "dad, how do your teeth grow?" Jake to Jens "Jens, what song do you want to listen to?" Jens, "broken dreams" (Green Day song) Jake, "dad, does it make you nervous when a cop follows you" Jon "dad, why do farts stink" It went on and on. It was all good laughs. I was pacing the lodge tonight wondering when I should go out grooming but I decided I will wait to early morning since there is a slight chance of frizzle and I don't want to groom tonight then have to back out in the am.



This morning Lars came over again and we did 6 x 40 seconds. The conditions were perfect when we were out. Man, what a day. At 1pm, things got a little soft. Lars went 7 beats higher on his max hr then his previous high so he was pretty pumped. I think it was good for him to have me ski with him. On the double track we skied side by side and I kept just a half stride behind him. We cranked the k's nicely. Kids like that are really fun to work with. No ego, just a hard worker with no drama and blah blah blah. Man, the new snow on Tuesday made everything just perfect but today screwed things up and will make for some stressful grooming the next few days. Skiing will be good on the%
