Temp in the old sauna hitting 200 degrees. We have two students from Brazil this year and one of their chores is cranking up the old sauna. They are doing a nice job. I take a sauna whenever I can. Its the best after a long day. 200 is rare. Usually I get it up to 175. We have a electric in our house but it just doesn't feel the same as the wood fire unit.

This weather continues to be unreal. Real nice for skiing, sledding, skating. Winter has been a hit this year. Jonell has been getting out on her new Visions which is great. Moonlight and the whole issue. Good training for the tandem bike. Larry Skagan is getting ready to weld. It won't be long. Getting stoked (literally). Look out Eppens!!

Eric O was up here the past few days. I was hoping to get out skiing with him but just too busy. The kids did go out with him last night with the jibs. The three youngest and I went out the other night to visit him in the fish house. You can imagine what that was like. Eric was all laughs so that was cool. Nice to see him cross training nicely. I can't believe the miles some of you guys are putting in. Crazy. Its a long year man. But way to go. The first riding I will be doing will be in March after some melt freeze cycles and blasting the ski trails on a rideable surface.

Jonell and I went to Fargo for date night. Nice meal at Montes and then a movie at the historic Fargo theater. Saw Paradise Now. Story about a bombing attempt in Tel Aviv. Powerful stuff. Gotta have the date night. Especially when you are married after a bunch of years with kids.

Graystone challenge tomorrow. Would be fun to go. Slight chance but not likely. Jake has meet in Bemidge, Jon has hockey and guest pickup in Fargo. The intensity I have been doing is right on and the last two test laps on 5k course I keep dropping time. I did tt with Ari Resnick who skis for MPLS SW and that was fun. He is a sophmore and could be a top dog in a few years. I remember skiing with him when he was a kid.
