Good times in Big Sky so far. Actually we are staying in one of the cabins in Moonlight skiing which we skied the first day. Yesterday Jake and I skied most of Big Sky in the morning than we met up with Jonell, Jack and Jon and skied the rest of the afternoon together then picked up Jens at the childrens center and did a run with him. The boys are doing great for only being on downhill boards a few times. It helps they xc so much .Jake and I did a couple of double blacks and Jack has been able to do some blue runs. The runs are pretty long so he is doing great, esp. for a kindergartner, and really fun to see. They are so tired at night they crash hard. Last night Jens was eating and we heard this "clank" and he had dropped his spoon as he was starting to doze off. He went down to pick it up and fell asleep. Yesterday I rode down almost 3000ft from where we were staying and rode backup. 25 min down and almost a hour to get back up. Tough climbing but it is all good. I have the wrong gearing on my road bike but a nice workout nontheless. Today we are going to check out the terrain park at West Yellowstone and maybe a little xc before coming back for half day downhill. Great spring skiing with nice temps. Even had a little moonlight the other night while in the hot tub! Happy Easter!!
