The LL course was dry and pretty fast for mid April yesterday. Someone moved the sketchy rock on this drop (I think it was zigs) so it is easier to clean now. Lots of biking news yesterday. Jonell and I got our cards back for S and F on the tandem, Jake is in for s and f, Jake talked to Hollywood about riding on a Salsa flying the Hollywood colors and I put my foot in the door for LL to be a UCI event for 2007. Too late for this year but hopefully it will help some of the local riders like Hall and Tristan that have OL and national team aspirations. Will involve a lot more $ and paperwork which I am not the best at but will give it a go and see what happens.Jonell and I are down in Mexico now. Took advantadge of USA cycling membership and got a nice fare from Fargo to PV. Free bike transport as well. NO KIDs!! thanks to parents on both side for that. Wow, takes a day or two adjust. We will miss the kids dearly but good to have a break for all of us. Should get some nice long rides in including some grinds up into the hills and mountains. Maybe some pics at the end of the week.
