Bob learned the hard way last time he was here not to eat oyster stew the night before going full on. It took about a half day to get him out of that one. Thankfully a logger was in the area with a big skidder and some cables (which he snapped a few) The new slope/hill turned out pretty sweet. Should make for some good jib skiing and what not this winter. Will build a table top etc. halfway in the field to stop the sledders from hitting the road and serve for some jumping. Spent last two days when I could picking rocks.
Maplelag hs on Wed. 400+ kids. I would be scratching my head too if I was that advisor. Yikes. All in all pretty good kids except the ones from Lake Park who were climbing on the cabooses.
Jake, Jonell and Jake's friend Matt going to the Cloud tonight to race at the jail trail tomorrow. I would of liked to gone to show support for Evla and Kyia. Should be a fun one on tight and twisty singletrack. Rode back there in August. Slight chance I might be able to sneak up to the cross race in Moorhead. Hardtail that doesnt shift. Cross bike isn't set up. Rode 45 min this week. Could be muddy and that would be fun. And would be good to try and give p-cakes some competetion. Whatever.
Jack has b-day party than Jonell picks him up to take he and Jens to another party. Jonell goes down to the cloud, I pick up Jack and Jens later, Jon stays over at friends house, Jonell picks up Jon on way home and Jack goes to Canada tomorrow with my dad for a goose hunting trip. Ihaven't gone in 4 years. Lots of birds and some good times. A post later in the week on that with some old photos.
