Good thing the weather was nice today for the first day of MEA. We didn 't really hunt today on the Island. Just went out there for a couple of hours and goofed around. Tomorrow morning we will get up early and do it for real. Cross practice at MBJ last night. Kent and I back and forth all night. Good workout and some good fun. The GPCC guys are doing greatwith Linda, Kent, Struchy, Steve and Rick sitting quite nicely in the CRY standings. Would of been fun to hit the awards party and do the cross on Sun. Will miss not supporting the event and showing appreciation for the riders who did the series. Jim and Mary in London and I set the group up for this weekend so I need to be here to keep things rolling along smoothly. Ordered a 2007 VK Pro. Lower gearing for the 2007 model. Talked to Doug at West Yellowstone and he said I will never drive at Actic cat again. We'll see. We basically locked out the rear suspension on the Bearcat so it should pull a lot better, plus with all the add ons it is dialed in now. And the exhaust isn't so much a presence compared to the Professional (at least the times I tested the Pro.) I guess Fischer is dropping pilot/salomon for 2007. They are going NNN which is huge. I can't believe it really. All those skiers that have pilot bindings on their old skis with Fischer boots. Seems like all the ski manufacturers are making their boots now with Madshus the latest. I know I won't be ordering Madshus skis now which it is too bad. With flakes or flurries the past three days, no accumulation, and Jon started with hockey, hard not to be thinking about winter.

The yamahas are looking good this year. For the first time I'm straying from Arctic Cat.All of the Yamahas this year are four strokes. They make dang good engines.I think it would make heck of a better utility sled.Alot more power in the low end where you need it and stays consistant.

My cousin said she was up by your place last weekend. She was staying at a friends house on strawberry lake. They own most of the land around the lake. Some 100 acres I guess

Yeah, the lower gearing is what everyone is talking about. So was this property near Christian Retreat?
