Geez its been a while. Too busy. Our house is full of risktakers. Jens sliding down the stairs (he walked away,no worries and Jack says "dad, watch Jens slide down the stairs, he uses his hands" so I had no idea he went that fast and Jens says "dad, video tape me) me grooming on the lake with the snowmobile, Jonell hanging stockings while standing on the stairwell, Juker jumper, Jack...he unfortunately seems to get the worst of it all. Jon is probably the cleanest and smoothest of us all. The quickest way to fail is to not try?!?!? Not sure. Still hanging on to some winter. Some serious shoveling to pull off next weekend. Can't believe we did it this weekend. Grooming on the lake was fine. Just the second day I was going to set tracks but the ice was a cracking so I pushed the abort button and heading afap to the nearest shore opening. I was shaking for a hour. Jack had b-day party tonight for friend that was part of quadruple situation. Think there were like 30 kids. Gosh.
Today one of our employees dad called and said "can Jordan take a hour off to come and help us slaughter four buffalo?" Sure I say, what does he half to do "we'll he's got the best shot in the family" So Jordys job was to take them down. Not sure what the yardage was. Skating has been good, skiing has been skiable. Better than not skiing and have 7 days on snow so far so no complaints. THINK SNOW!!!
