What a wild week last week. Spend at least 14 solid hours shoveling to get a nice track for the Bemidji pursuit, 40 min of racing on it and then it gets wiped out. At least the snow is on the trail and I would do it all over again. After the track had been set the night before, I skied about 20k on it until I ran out of gas. We just can't get any snowfall it seems, over the 1/2" deals. With the base that we have, a couple would really take it to the next level. But, until then, we'll keep enjoying the skiing we have. Personally I think it is great and I definitely have skied more this year than last year. Lars and I are doing some high end intervals today as he gears up for sections/state.

Little bit of flu bug going around the house but so far Jonell and I have stayed in the clear. Almost 2 years now with out being sick and no over the counter meds, including advil. Has made a huge difference to stop taking advil almost 2 years ago after reading some bad raps about that. Started taking some cod liver oil as well after my dad said his shoulder feels the best it has after he took a nasty spill on the ice two years ago and bummed it up. Not operative they say. Used to take cod liver oil (tran) while in Norway and I have a friend now living in Denmark who is going to send some over.

The UCI race is starting to fall into place. I have been in contact with the Chief Official and also some UCI folks in Swiss. Everyone has been helpful. Working on the sponsorship now. Keeping things local as the process is much faster and just don't seem to have luck with the big corps and within the industry folks. Hope to have a flyer and registration ready(bikereg.com) by March 1stish. Here is a link to a page on the Maplelag site. I will be adding to it along the way.

Think Snow!
