Jack got his bike out today. Jonell goes nuts this time of year with all the dirt and wet clothes that get brought into the house. On the way home after school and a classmates b-day party all Jack talked about was biking so we went for a ride down the driveway at sunset. Good for Jack as he will probably ride every day now. Jay got his bike out this year. Should of gone out earlier in the morning while it was still frozen but didn't matter as the ice sections were treacherous even with the softening. Fun on Suicide Hill where 6 times up and down were in order. Nothing like doing hill repeats first time on the saddle. Good practice for riding/climbing in the mud as the handling/control is pretty much the same. Nice part about riding on snow is that it is a bit cleaner. The window is small where you can ride on the trails while they are still ice and snow covered. Maybe have 3-4 days. Freezing down hard again tonight so the lakeside singletrack, which is free of snow, should be good in the morning.
