Jake got the Croll cx going(or is it xc). He's been on a few rides with it. Ran up Suicide today. I am going to stick to riding the mtb. I put a cyclometer on the end of June and want to try and hit 2000 miles on it before the snow sticks. Took Jens to school and did the mountain and around the lake loops during and rode up to the top of the mountain, hard. Mowed on trails until dark. Perfect fall day.



We had Ben on Friday night since his brother was in the hospital and his parents went to be with him. The kids were up at the bmx track and he took a digger on his face. The boys said he popped up like nothing happened, no crying. Tough kid. He came by the lodge so I told him I would take a picture of him next to the bear Jonell's brother shot a few years ago and we can say he wrestled with a bear and won.

Speaking of bear hunting, Jonell's brother having a go this weekend. He's taking a different approach so will be interesting to see what happens. The acorn run is done. I guess a 600 pounder was taken east of Waubun.
