What a incredible day in northwest MN. Went over to Soaring Eagles for conference meet. Was -25 driving over but felt warm enough to do the race so race was on, 30 min delay. Bright sunshine, ripping track, doesn't get any better
Jake working through traffic on first lap on way to 6th place. Lars smoked everyone. TV station from Fargo was there which was pretty neat.
Lar's sister Sommer won. 8th grade. Nice hat. I asked her how the race went and sounded to easy. She said the Bemidji girl wasn't going fast enough so she opened it up, got a gap and held the pace on to the finish. Will be fun to watch to see how the next four years play out. Could surprise some people at state. Gotta get there first though!

Very grass roots feel. Tight skiing with lots of turns and twists. Fire help taking off some of the chill Jonell and her parents to the right and Jens playing on the snow banks.

Snuck up to Itasca after the varsity races and Jonell and Jens went back to PR. Skiing on the road.......put it in cruise control and open it up. Was freshed groomed today I think and fantastic skiing. Beautiful pines

Back to PR and set in front of the fireplace and practically melt. The wind was kicking good so my face felt like it was on fire.
