It is good to be in Vermont. Nice feel to Vermont. I like all the deli and cafes, produce, maple syrup chill feel etc. We haven't been doing much other than some course inspection, easy rides, eating and listening some whine at the team manager meeting. We hooked up with Kris and Kyia last night for dinner and some candlepin bowling. Some very fun times. I didn't have the camera but Kyia caught the action. I hadn't ever heard of it before but basically smaller balls, more pins and three balls per frame and you bowl two frames at a time. Bunch of jargon...we had a lot of black holes, I might of had a back door strike "ray ball"but plenty of laughs.

They changed the course up this year a bit. The downhill is really fun, flows real good. Not as technical as last year. The climbing is broken up nicely and some shorter steep stuff which I prefer over the long grinding stuff. Mike Broderick wasn't happy with the course. Said it should be more east coast like. Was too buffed. Jeremiah Bishop wanted another lap. Gary Fisher manager said the first downhill needed to be weed whacked blah blah. We saw the Wisco crew and Lalondes were grinning ear to ear. Jesse is pretty amped. Jake and I think he has a top 10 in him. Think I am going to get my hair cut tomorrow. Jake keeps bugging me. This one guy thought we are brothers. We kind of act like it I guess after spending this much time together.

Have a great race week-end Jay and Jake. It wouldn't be the same Vermont without mud and roots.

Thanks Mike. Roots and rocks for sure but right now it is dry. Slight chance of rain here and there that would add to the fun.

good luck to you and your brother. I can't believe you didn't bring your sister Jonell along ;)
Tell the mid west crew we're cheering for ya.
Sam and I will be at Red Wing. I haven't done that race the last 2 years.
Did you see they canceled Welch?

Thanks. Jake is set for 9am race tomorrow and Ben and Fish will be racing then as well. I did see the Welch deal.

Today we had a conference call about it and hopefully a different venue will fill the spot on same date, I have a good feeling it will. SD trip looks pretty sweet. Good luck at Memorial, you guys should rip it up.
