Heading over to Bozeman, high temp of 59 degrees.

Rolled into West Yellowstone and dropped of Ginzu at YTS. Doug has big pickup tomorrow for delivery of rollers and ginzu groomers. Sales have been solid. Lots of stuff going over to Europe this year.

Doug pointing out the changes in this years models.

Big cat ready to groom up on the plateau. (was going to put the blade on and tracksetters on the tiller)

New groomer not yet available. Doug said he might call it the "maritime groomer" designed for heavy snow situations like in the BC where they measure the snow in feet and often times rain mixed in and temps above freezing. Looks simple but the little things Doug figures out and there is no one like him. Can't see the actuator that lifts groomer and orange blades have steel teeth for erasing. Good compaction on the rear. Steel frame unlike aluminum on the current Ginzus.

First time I went out to WY to ski was in college. Stayed at Doug's and remember talking a couple hours with him about grooming etc. I was just learning the grooming thing and he was clearly a PRO. Doug has spoked at national conferences and at the ABR grooming clinic and definitely one of the most respected groomers in the world. Totally eat this stuff off. Could hang out there all afternoon talking groomer chat.

Checking out the view on Whiskey Creek trail on the plateau (Bruce photo). After skiing up there,
went down to check out the Rendezvous system. Pretty low snow but high density base that does exist and one snowfall and they will be good to go. Bruce got word the CXC team is doing intervals on a good section on the Rendezvous trails so might check that out in the morning.

That a beautiful area. I've been out to Bozo and W. Yellowstone snowboarding a number of times. Sounds like it's pretty warm for this time of year.
Ironically that blogger pic was taken facing east a few miles from Big Sky.
