Wow, what a crazy week. So many weird things happening this week that would take a long time to write about and time has been limited. Must of been that full moon this week. Flat tires, locking keys in cars, crazy hockey parent drama, Jonell's dad in hospital....goes on and on. Sitting in Billings right now, en route to West Yellowstone to pick up some grooming equipment and bringing some equipment out for some upgrades. Bruce Adelsman came with me to help out with the driving but with him tooling around with the GPS, laptop that is online and cell phones, I rather drive and have him do his thing and kill the time. Talked to Doug from YTS and he said some folks have been skiing up on the plateau so looks like we should be able to get some skiing in. He will be grooming again up there on Wed it sounds like.

Figured I better scrap off the goey wax, put storage wax on, scrap that off and wax for the day...all under an hour. Brought rockers, no waxers and rollerskis so should keep busy while we wait for all the grooming equipment to get prepped.

Takes 30 minutes to sew on both names on home and away jerseys. After gettin all that done, it was decided that no names on any DL hockey jerseseys, all levels, so off they came.........blah.....blah.... Lets just play hockey. Jon's team faced a very solid West Fargo team and they got introduced nicely to squirt A hockey. Should be a great year. I was in the box, running the door over the weekends games and what not and kids are working really hard and things should start clicking and look forward to the season. Jon is on pace to score 60 goals...hopefully that number lowers and the scoring gets spread out among the team.
Big congrats to Pat Lemiuex in taking State CX. Pat put some hours on the Maplelag trails, ski and mtb, when growing up in Fargo and even help build some singletrack. Stuff like that goes a long way in my book. Awesome to pull it off among the states best including two guys that have asteriks by their name.... and wouldn't be racing if Wells and Tilfrod were calling the shots. Look for a post in 20 hours...hopefully on the snow. Pumped about that!!
