Warm summerlike days are probably a thing of the past now. No complaints. September has been awesome but ready for this cooler weather setting in.

Getting some time on the water when I can. Keep thinking of the beautiful ice we had last year and if anything close to last year will be great.

Last day of September. Plan on water indulgence until November 1. No rush to crush. Threading the needle through the wild rice.
First frost of the year is always exciting. Probably not many people taking picture of their wind shields but this gets me pumped.
Frosty leaves.
Been looking for a car for Jake. Pretty impressive only 53k. (miles that is) The green truck is probably half the age with 228k. Asking 2500 for the grocery hauler. Thinking it would be a very nice fit. Could take out the back seats etc. Good thing the Dominator doesn't live in these parts.

I always wanted a van. Think it would be perfect for our family. Can't convince Jonell. Scott Olson used to truck us around in his during the team Zizibakawadaboo days and worked nicely. The built in ladder is the ticket. Option for different towing heights. You could pull people down the city streets after a winter storm like the college days. Just don't go down a one way, the wrong way and first car you meet is a cop.
Neighbor TJ is back for Fall and Winter to help with trail maintenance etc. which is nice. TJ knows the trails and even the cutovers like the back of his hand and is good with the chain saw. Has hunted the area pretty thorough since he was young. We have been mapping all the trails this week for that new trail map and hope to finish by the weekend if not too wet.
We still have the cat that showed up a few weeks ago. This makes cat #6 or 7 for us. I think this cat might make it, even though it has used up 3 lives already (Fly had it by its tail and the cat amazingly escaped somehow) Since then I have been working on the dogs to not get so uptight. The cat isn't like other cats we have, running around doing the big sharp pointy teeth thing and hissing all the time. Sure sits and sleeps funny. If you just got married and thinking of doing the pet thing before having kids, have kids first then get the pets. Much more rewarding.
Cowboy day for the kids today. "Listen hear young lady" Jack says when I pick him up after school. Jack, you didn't say that at school did you says I...ahh.........says Jack ..not to any boys just a couple girls. He said that wasn't as bad as what Jens did. Jens got three girls to laugh hysterically and got them in trouble.

That's got to be Clark Griswald's car, no wonder it's 2,500! LOL!!

If you don't throw down for that wagon I will! A bike rack, window tint and some stickers = serious race weapon......I need the details.

Right about when she's ready for the bone yard you enter her in the demo derby. Maple leaf on the side and do some advertising while your at it.
It is a Griswald car for sure. don't tie and dogs to the bumper or try to look for the gas cap under the license plate.

If a transaction goes down on hiway 59, I will be sure to swing down south and pick up the O bros, k2a2, then back west to the Za's and we can cruise out to White Butte or something, maybe burn some turns after that winter storm that hits tomorrow and mtb at MDH while doing it all in style.
