Sad news in the neighborhood when on Monday night one of the neighbor boys was hit by a car while rollerblading on the road that runs from Richwood to Strawberry lake. Happened just a few miles from here. Can't imagine what the family is going through. Tuesday I had a hard time thinking about anything else. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

It has been another good week working on the new singletrack by Twin Lakes other than I got the green truck stuck yesterday and Jonell had to pull me out. The rain this year is ranking up there with the last year we lived in MT when it rained at least one day out of the week the entire year. Looking back to April, I think the longest stretch of dry weather has been 10 days. The big work this week was cutting out the trail along the steep bank on the east side of south twin lake.

View this morning from the singletrack where it comes closet to the lake.
Digging out along the bank.
Support after trail was dialed in. Five years ago the beavers chewed the base of a lot of oak trees around there. Trees died, fell but the logs are solid as ever so cut them up and staked them in for support.

Seregy going to town with the pulaski. Thankfully the dirt has been relatively easy to move and the view is about as good as it gets with the fall color really starting to crank up. Once we pull out of this section we will follow some old deer trails and should go faster. This is the third fall we have been working on it and right now the trail, riding good pace, takes right around 15 min. Crazy. Shooting for a 25-35 min loop which will be perfect. Can always add to it later.

Jonell pulled a deer tick off Carlos that had been camped out a few days it looked like. I was a bit surprised as I hadn't seen any ticks for 5-6 weeks. Just have to keep checking. In August I saw a Chiropractor in Walker that does Electro Dermal Sensing. I had a test and three strains of Lyme showed up and low in iodine. Put on a homeopathic treatment for four months and I have to say I have felt the best I have in 15 months. Having a positive mindset things will keep on improving.

Chequemegon land tomorrow. Looking forward to a great weekend. Good luck to everyone racin'.

I'm happy to hear you were treated and helped by a chiropractor. They have so much to offer over allopathic medicine.
