The lake level this year is pretty much all time record high. We went in to the winter with high water tables and a 100" of snowfall keeping moisture levels up there.

Ice was off one week ago today and always nice when the ice is off. Especially the calm days.

The woods are flooded like I have never seen. Last year the above area was bone dry. The woods ducks are thick in the forest and I almost hate going through as they get scared away and probably reluctant to nest.

This pond behind our house feeds the creek that runs through the Maplelag property. It has been running full steam since the snow started to melt.
The beavers plugged the opening but I have been in a daily battle with them keeping it open trying to drop the level down as so many other sloughs feed in to this.
Where Carlos gets his energy I guess!
