Back in Action

"When tragedy strikes, take comfort in the fact that no difficulty will ever come into your life without God's permission. Knowing this truth does not make adversity pleasant, but it gives us hope that the result will be worth whatever pain we endure."

Two weeks since Jake's accident. The recovery has been going well. Friday stitches came out which was painful but now finger is sealing up and on way to "closing" up. Earlier in the week, out for the first bike ride with the whole family. More miles logged including 40 miles yesterday, which was great for the mind and body.

Rollerskiing on new paved path next two Tower Road.

 Running with cousin Marco.

All 8 cousins on the Richards side together most of last week. All out by themselves one night for some good memories. Around the house, yard and lake... paired up nicely having fun!

Jake,
I'm really sorry to hear about your accident. I'm not sure what to say except I'm thinking of you and hoping things are getting better day by day.
