Sun

This time of year we are lucky to see the sun on any given day. With daylight savings making the days seem shorter, the past two weeks have seem like perma4oclock during the day. Last week a small  weather system worked its way through and mid morning one day, the clouds rolled back, fog lifted and a few minutes the lake scene was incredible. Later that evening at sunset, we had one of the best and few sunsets with color we have seen this year.

Happened to be near the lake and looking to the south appeared there could be some nice evening color.

For about 7 minutes the color evolved from orange to blues to purples...great evening!

Family pic when Jake was home last weekend.
 Bros!
The games have finally started for hockey. Jon playing Bantam As and off to good start with three wins. Jens up next this weekend and Jack starting Nordic skiing today....getting closer to real winter!
Big storm in ND didn't want to come our way but the leftover moisture got squeezed out by a nice cold front, providing some grooming and skiing opportunities to start the week. Pleasant temps make November skiing almost as good at March or April. Think Snow!
