Winter Wrap Up-30 Days Of Skiing

Winter came to a screeching halt this week with almost a 80 degree temp swing in less than a week. Most of the snow will be gone by the weekend which will make for an interesting end to 30daysofskiing, a goal of where I try to ski 30 consectuive days in March. All types of skiing are allowed but skiing on natural snow, Nordic style is preferred. I have been updated daily on the 30days blog and most likely not posting on this blog until the month is over. I try to add other tidbits to the post so check it out if interested and to see what else is going on in addition to trying to ski every day.

Jonell made tater tot hot dish a few weeks ago. First time this winter, a random photo but a highlight of the winter I can't not recognize here. What was leftover the from the initial serving I got to enjoy the next day. Awesome!
Jake has been home a few times from college, wrapping up a solid Nordic ski season and academic semester. Had a nice ski with him before he went west for spring break alpine style.

Parents night at last home hockey game for Jon and his team. Jon's team lost to the eventual state champion in Class A, East Grand Forks in the section semi final. Jon and his team had a great year, we are proud of them all.
Jack wrapped up his season with skiing a month ago but we have been out a few times including last Sunday skiing Roy's Run on a gorgeous spring skiing day.
Jens and his team made it to regions after finishing second in district play, a great year, fun team to watch.
Skiing with Jon on the first day of 30days of skiing.

Skiing with nephew Ripley and Jens last Friday, on day 6.

Yesterday Jonell and got out, completing my goal to ski with all kids and Jonell. Great ski, one of the most memorable of the season. Hopefully we can get out a few more times this year!
