Wed To Plan

Late spring/early summer is one of the wedding seasons at Maplelag. The other being late summer/fall. We've done over 100 destination weddings, providing everything on a weekend. Each one is unique, always good memories, stories and great people to work with. Weddings bring people in from all over the country and the world for that matter and you really learn a lot visiting with folks.  Personally this is the best way to get an idea what America is like.
People always ask what weather might be like a particular time of year. It really is hard to identify any really trends and thankfully 90% of the time we've had favorable weather for an outside ceremony.
Jonell and staff do an amazing job setting things up and Jonell has a eye for finding unusual and crafty things to make each one unique.
Hudson doesn't like weddings because he has to be kenneled unless I can sneak him out for a run. Last wedding he snuck out and made way to the dining room. Not good, but could of been worse. Real worse.
Midnight snack is homemade pizza and always the ending point of the day. Recapping how things went etc.
As always, we get some visitors and its always been entertaining, all good.
The underbrush and foliage this spring and early summer has been like nothing I have seen before. The boys have been great help clearing trail.

I have to pitch it's good cross training. Good to be out in the woods with boys as always.

Jon on trail, enjoying the work.

We've had some great riding this spring and early summer. Cool weather making for nice conditions.
