Like the other years, Jack was a bit reluctant but when we picked him up, he said he had a blast and maybe wanted to go four weeks next year and earn a high school credit. One of his projects above. Have been involved with the Concordia Language Villages for over 30 years. A camper myself at Russian, Swedish and Norwegian and summer jobs high school and college years, cooking at Norwegian, Russian, Swedish, Chinese and Japanese. Cooking is interesting, always something new to learn no matter how long you have been doing it, just like anything else. And, of course, we have a full summer of language camps here at Maplelag. A great program.
Espresso/cappuccino etc. is a big part of Italian camp. The kids drank decaf which was probably a good idea. Jack is making the frothy and caramelly at home now doing a nice job.
On the way home, outside Park Rapids, noticed this plane for sale. I contacted my bro in law that works in the airline industry to see if he could help me get it going but I haven't heard from him. Taking that as a no. We put some serious miles on the vehicles each year and sometimes a vehicle that flies would be nice.
With breakfast at 730 each morning, Jack was in up early mode. Out for a morning run next day. Carlos and I went along.
When does school start?
