Backfilling around the candy store cabin. Today we pretty much shoveled gravel all day. We are adding on to this cabin. I took the door off the bobcat and the sightlines are much better now. The more hours you put on a machine the more tricks you learn and what not.....like holding foam in place whild dumping gravel at the same time. Anyways, this has been the year of screened gravel. With all the projects we have been doing since the summer, I figure we have had about 60 loads. Ralf (person in photo) spent a good chunk of the summer wheelbarreling gravel from piles to the foundation. The floor was wood suspended by wood joists and they rotted out because of poor ventilation.
Tonight we had a babysitter for a while since Jonell and I were at the lodge taking care of the Mary Kay ladies. Jonell asked the babysitter what her favorite class was. Weightlifting she said!! Just what you need with four boys.
Looking more and more likely that I will be at Rebecca cross. We have our nephew to get back to St. Cloud so it would work. I could stay back and go duck hunting though on Sunday morning. One of my high school friends dad who is fanatic about ducks wants to go out Sunday. Duck hunting is a lot of fun. I have lots of epic stories from duck hunting I'll have to share sometime.
Have a good weekend!!
