This is Steve Wenzel running a section of the uphill singletrack during the Pumpkin Run on Saturday. Steve is the only guy who has done our ski, bike and trail run races!! He is the endurance stud of Fargo. After the race, he and is family helped move the 30 wooden tables out of the dining room so we can stain it this week. How cool is that? Steve has helped build a lot of the singletrack out at Maplelag as well.

We had Jonell's sisters' kids over the weekend as well since her sister and husband went to Fargo for some r and r. They choose Fargo over Las Vegas and I think I would do the same. Today we took all six boys to church. We filled a whole pew. The boys were good.

Also over the weekend our cat climbed into the vent system and made its way into the furnace!!! I wasn't there when it happened but Jonell was furious. I don't think we were made to have cats. This is #4 in the last year. I will bet our house will be cat free by Christmas.

Tonight I took Ralf to the airport. He tried to get a visa to Canada to visit this girl he met online, and became quite serious with, (she came to visit about a month ago) but he did not so he went back home to Poland. He said she is going to come and visit him in Poland over the Holidays then maybe in the summer they will meet in Ireland and he will get a job there and she will work as a nurse since they are in high demand in Ireland. Anyways, a interesting story how all that played out. I took the boys along as Jonel worked at the meatball diner at church.

I am getting real anxious for snow. But we still have some outside work to knock out so have to hold the horses back just a bit. I had about a 45 minute window to ride so I busted a gut and blew a lung down the sugar creek road. Everything the past two weeks has been short and sweet.Posted by Picasa
