A half pound of Sumatra Organic Yergacheffe. Winona LaDuke was here a while back and we started talking about coffee. She has a coffee roasting scene on the rez and she said she would roast me some Sumatra. Monday she brought over 20# and we won't be selling it in the gift shop for a while so if you want a pound or half pound, let me know and I' ll sell ya some. I grind it very fine and run it through the espresso machine for a tasty cup most mornings.

Tonight I took a short ride and rode the Sugar Creek road. I was cruising along with the light blasting away. I thought I would turn it off for a while since it was clear and the moon was shining nicely. I crested the biggest hill on the road and sure enough at the bottom a deer goes flying in front of me and I just missed t-boning in by about 10 feet. I turned the light back on after that but the battery ran out. I did see a couple more deer but no run ins.

Looks like I will be heading down to the cities on Sunday to pick up the tiller I bought for the Pisten Bully. The plan is to try and do state cx on Sunday, crash at Bruce's then pick up the tiller Monday. I will take Jens with me so will do some fun stuff with him. Jens is pretty pumped to be going to the "groomer store" and talks about it every day. I think the sales rep said that there would be a PB100 in the shop so that would be cool to dream. Hopefully we have snow by the end of this month because I am ready to start grooming and skiing!! Posted by Picasa
