Jens is dead set on dressing himself now. Par for the course is shirt on backwards, underwear on backwards (so he can see Thomas) two different gloves, two different boots. Two pairs of pants.....Today he discovered his heart. "Mom, do you have a heart?" It was cute. He jumps up and down to make his heart beat. Yesterday we were smoothing out the road with the bobcat and drag and he says "chocolate, it looks like chocolate" so I said it was like being in the Willy Wonka chocolate factory.

Skiing this morning was unreal. Perfect spring skiing. I skied about 10 k easy while it was still fast then did 5k hard going all out on the hills and then a 5k easy. After skiing I went our for the first ride of the year. Yep, finally did it. It had warmed up since i went skiing but I still put on more clothes with the wind hollering. I rode about 50 minutes. Lookout. It felt good and the muscles used while skiing felt the same while biking. I got the road bike tuned up a bit and tomorow, if it isn't downpouring, I will ride to Twin Valley and connect with Jonell as she is going to visit her 97 year old Grandma.

Bruce passed on this link to me. I agree with Nathan about Tyler. I have read quite a bit about Tyler's case. It all sounds convincing but the problem is that the tests that were performed did show something so unfortunately, if he is innocent, shows he doped. Cycling really has a problem with doping. Yeah, dopers suck for sure. I was reading the article in Velonews about David Millar and how is ds thinks he deserves a second chance. Yeah, that is fine but what about the next guys. Does it put up and comers that they can try to get away with doping and further their career and if they get caught, well they get a second chance. I think there should be a ban for life from racing. Guys that get busted can still ride their bikes and enjoy their ride and make them work a 9-5er. Anyways, Nathan also rants a bit about doing some house work and how his arms were tired when he was skiing. Give me a break.

I was also reading about Tom Boonen and how he tweaked his training because of the interview demands from winning the rainbow jersey. It must be working. He has like 10 wins this year. I know a lot of Euro atbers do shorter races to start the race to get their speed dialed in. I think too many guys are logging huge hours and not enough intensity.

Got real warm today. Some serious snow loss. I did groom tonight on skaters waltz and no standing water so should be good in the morning unless it downpours. I am going to wake up Jon and Jake early so we can hit the jump while it is firm. This afternoon it was too soft so we missed out. It is scary looking at it from the top.
