If this is going to happen
and Ullrich and Basso were indeed involved, better now before the Tour starts than having one of those guys win and then the allegations come forward and the whole race is toast. Hopefully the Tour runs with clean riders and fans and sponsors can feel good about the race..... but this is just a bad deal for cycling, especially road. For the riders doing it clean and busting their guts, I would be burned. Man, it bet it is just turmoil in France right now. I will have to e-mail the French student that worked for us some years back and see what her take is on it. What's yours?
