Some of the kids that were at Jonell's parents' cabins for the "Garden Party". Last night around midnight pretty much everyone in the picture was still awake and we were all in the white cabin trying to figure out how they were going to get to bed while the rest of the gang was still at Pinehurst enjoying Fertile's "Four Wheel Drive" band that played at the lodge. Some good times and laughs over the weekend. Over 120 people for the party, mostly Jonell's parent's friends. Nice to eat a bunch of lake food including a bunch of pickled herring and I think something like 8 sloppy goes and 5 pieces of breakfast bake in the morning. Speaking of the band, the drummer was just about falling asleep and Jonell's friend Heidi went up to his face and yelled "wake up". The other band members said he does that all the time. He was leaning against a wall and good thing as I guess he has toppled over before. Funny stuff. Friday night I took whoever had a bike up to high point on the start of the ride we did back in July. Jake screwed around afterwards on the trees and stuff. Should crash hard tonight after sleeping on the pallet of 50# bags of flowers. (Hideaway bed) The solution was to put a pillow between the legs and and go to the side and roll til everything fell into place. Crunch time tomorrow as we gear up for the big Loppet weekend after the camps ended on Saturday. Hot tub gets cleaned in the am and trees to cut on the course among everything else. Oh, check out the guys on security in the bug shield glasses. No pictures of the lakeside cabana. Friends Heidi and Dean set up a tent. Ryan set the sprinker on them this morning for some morning romantics.
