I didn't expect to go skiing with Zigs when I hooked up with him so that was a pretty neat treat. Halloween to boot! Yesterday we went for a nice 2.5 hr ride. Did some 10 minute climb. Beautiful day for a ride. Stopped by Trapp Family and talked with Charlie and he showed me around. The new Villas out there are incredible. A whirlwind trip. Drove across VT.and NH and attended reception for conference last night than stayed at the Wights, the owners of Sunday River Inn in Maine. Today at Great Glen trails and snowing in morning then clouds cleared and you could see top of MT Washington which got hammered in snow last night. Cleared during the day and the road was calling my name to go ride up it. Probably would of been snow just a half mile up though. But back down to southern NH and at the CCSAA offices tonight, passed through MASS for good measure. Dang, I miss the kids and Jonell. Kind of a shock to go from that scene to this. Tomorrow checking out venue for UCI race on Sat. Maybe drive to coast in afternoon. Will post some photos from today, tomorrow. They had the cx course set up at Great Glen. I was hoping to ride it in the morning but there was snow on the ground. My kind of course with some good tight turns and steep uphills. Pretty scenic to boot.
