Ortho appt. for snakeman last Thurs. braces on Monday. Went with the H-wood b and w. A bit of an adjustment but he is doing fine. Going to have to get some Joe Weider weight gainer for the kid. After six weekends in a row of racing, he took last week off completely and just had "fun". Started riding again this week and tonight said "wish there was a race right now, my legs feel awesome" 15 years ago I said that and doesn't seem to be as often now but I'm still having "fun".
Today I cut up a tree that came down from Sunday's wind storm. I told Jens to stay back while I cut it up. I had my back to him while I was cutting and when I stopped, he had about 8 branches on already. Didn't ask him, he just did it. Today he did it all, drove the pickup, Bobcat, mower. Some campers saw him drive the truck or steer I should say and we were in the lodge later and they said " I saw you driving give me five" He was stoked feeling like the bgoc .
Always reading about diet and nutrition. The latest has been Mendosaand the glycemic index. Beer out. Wine out. Nothing about vodka. Latest Mens Journal reports vodka is the purest form of alcohol beverage or something like that and if you are to consume alcoholic beverages, go with vodka. H'woods doctor told him to take a shot of vodka before a race to open up the lung capillaries for easier breathing. I know thats a suggestion he won't turn down.
