Up to Margo's Forehead on Wed for tooth appts. for Jack and Jake. The place Jake went to in Moorhead is fully loaded. Video games, touch screen check in, wireless, cell phones encouraged, free coffe bar with lattees, tea, etc. Crazy. Times have changed. Lunch at Barbara's the best in FM. Lot nicer driving in Fargo than DL right now. Takes 15 min to get anywhere in FM, really but DL with the nutso 64 million project takes 20 to get across town. Can hardly stand to go there during the day. All the construction equipment is just too much for that size of town. Just a bit hard to comprehend when something of this size $wise happens but yet they have to close Callaway school because of budget restraints.

Way home watched a crop duster drop in just after this wind row. Pretty nuts. Fun stuff to watch. Those guys must have a nice shot of adrenaline running through the veins at the end of the day.
Every year there is always camp drama. The craziest thing to happen in a while happened the other day..... the bell ended up at the beach. Ranks up with the time some campers put all the canoes in the dining room. Jorge and Tico helped me put it back up. Gracias chicos.
Drop dead day for the first day of summer. Wow. Haven't been out on the kayak much but tonight I took a nice trip. If you have ridden the trails at Maplelag, you should recognize the trail on the left. The dynaride had to go back to Park Rapids so I rode back this afternoon. 47 miles of tail wind for the most part. Hardly any traffic on the back roads. Nice. On Monday that west wind was a hollering and I was thinking it would be a grind but I really lucked out. Looking forward to Mon Du Lac. Always a fun race. I think I raced the first year they had it at Mon Du Lac. That was 1992. Still have the t-shirt. Maybe I'll wear it Sunday. I think I had my first win there as a Expert in 93, can't remember. Last year was probably the most exciting race of the year for me with a great battle with Fisher and Luke the last few laps going for the w. Last 10 days has been some great training so hopefully the form is a bit better than Afton. Foam grips are finally on and my cushy saddle is on ....either way should be fun.
