Just a few more days and we can sign off on June. This is most of the schedule. Click on it for a larger version. The weeks are just flying by. On paper it looks pretty crazy but if you break down each kid, it isn't too bad. Jon has the craziest schedule but Jon loves it all. I think soccer would be the kicker if we had them in that. Especially the travel teams. At least thats what I hear from other parents. Jake's girlfriend plays soccer but thats all I know about that. Ask Jake about it!! If you see the 26, it is pretty open other than taking Jon to hockey camp in the morning. So last minute Jonell was able to get a babysitter for the evening and I left early afternoon to ride in a roundabout way to DL to meet her for supper before watching Jon's evening game.I did a nice 4 hour ride getting about 75 in. Was hoping for 80 but lots of headwind and cross wind riding and I am a lousy rider in the wind. I headed into a strong head wind for two hours pretty much to the west southwest from Maplelag before going back east towards DL. I rode on some roads in the Cormorant area I hadn't ridden in a while.
Kyia would be proud of me in that I stopped at some country store and filled up my bottle in the back sink. 60 min out from the meeting time with Jonell, I really had no idea where I was. I found some really nice rollers. I knew I would get close to DL at some point as the west wing was pushing me nicely and I ended up coming to Fern beach on Lake Melissa. I had 20 min so I went to Pelican Lake to the big climb on the east side before meeting at Hotel Shoreham and indulging in the best of. Jon is in the shooting stick handling camp. Skating with some kids 2-5 years older than him. The game was a little chippy. The goalies are huge!! Jon is totally wiped at the end. But thats good for Jon. He needs to be moving all day. When he isn't doing something here he is usually playing soccer with the camp kids. Its a good thing we don't have any major projects scheduled for the summer, especially with my Dad in Argentina for the summer.
