Jens has been so busy the past few days he has been sleeping like 12-14 hours a night. Yesterday we managed to sneak away to the lake for a ride and just before we got there, Jens fell asleep for about 30 seconds. Woke him up and he hung out with Grandpa while Jonell and I rode. It was very cold by the way. Head back and he falls asleep in the car at 4:30.. Carry him in and he was down for the count and slept the whole night before waking up around 5:30 am. Today we poured concrete for five different entrances. It took about 3 hours and the whole time Jens was helping, pulling concrete. The best was when Bob yells to the truck driver, "we need more concrete" and Jens yells to Bob "Bob, its not concrete, its cement"
This morning after we took the boys to the bus, we chased the low lying areas to find the best frost. Jens was pretty excited. "Dad, theres more Jack Frost." Jens was out by 6pm tonight. The brothers get bummed because they miss having him around supper time.
