No school for the kids on Monday so we went on Twin Lakes ski trail, driving in about 1.5 miles and set up camp on the east side of the south Twin Lake. There is a big bank that sits high above the lake providing a good view over the water and watch the sun set. I enjoyed watching the ducks circle and set their wings. Got me excited for duck hunting. The full moon is on Wed and the skies were clear so we had some great moonlight. Weather was warm but nice breeze and a good night to camp. We slept out in the open with no tent and thankfully it didn't rain. We were expecting it early morning and ready to tough it out as long as we could but no worries.

If you play with fire, you'll wet the bed is the old wives tale from the Garden family. Jack says "we're not playing, were sending smoke signals"

The highlight of the trip was when we were playing the laughing game. Everyone was doing their best one liners and they were all pulling out some good ones. Jack heard some noise so everyone is quiet to see if it was a owl or cricket. Jens took the oppurtunity to "rip" one and everyone was busting a gut. Jens had a lot of stories to tell.
Jack and I woke up at 3am as the moon was so bright and could not sleep with the wind making things restless as well. So we got the campfire going again and watched the moon set then went back to bed.
Hot dogs and marshmellows for breakfast......fun times.
