Not the best roads for riding. Thankfully last weekend it froze hard enough for some crust cruising. One pop three breaks. Guess Jake will be using CT5's next year. Good riding on Sugarbush trail. Snowmobilers on it last week then froze hard making for some nice riding. When I lived in Moorhead I used to ride on the icy tracks at Edgewood and what not. Good bike handling practice. Jake gives it a go.
Hooked up with Lars yesterday for a nice tour in NW MN. Full report in skinnyskitrail reports if interested. We both agree the most fun was at Kabekona korner. I went down hard at the end in the clip taking too much speed across the ice at the bottom. The opportunity to link 20 turns off some side slop off the road is not bad for non lift service action. Fun stuff.

Nice telemarking!Wish I could carve like that.Eric & I wondered if Afton would ever let us take XC skis down the slopes.Lots of riding going on down here, all of us("fast guys")have been putting some good time & miles in the saddle. The recent snow almost had me thinking if I should put the skis away, but it melted the next day enough that the roads were dry. Be blessed!
Skied many alpine areas with the Nord boards. I am sure Afton would let you take a run or two. Most of our rides have been a hour or less. Just trying to slowly get the legs back. I am sure you guys will be flying at Harmon. I'll just be happy to race and hope for a mud fest...I've been doing the dance now!. and hope the form comes around for Deer Valley.
