This is wild. Snow came down nicely enough yesterday. Made for some pretty decent skiing yesterday late afternoon and a early morning ski before school with the headlamps this morning.
After I took the kids out to the bus, I had to go out in daylight. Wow. Suicide Hill is packed out really nice and skiing on snow pretty much the whole time, just a tiny bit of grass and leaf matter. Packed powder on top of a ice base, about as good as it gets for October skiing. Should hold today and be good skiing this afternoon and early morning again tomorrow.
Snowball fight yesterday. Awesome.
