Amongst all the trips up to Bemidji this past weekend for Jon's tourney, the Yukon was struck once again. This time it was a grouse taking a nose dive on the windshield. This makes, I think, the fifth time we will have had the windshield replaced on this vehicle. Check out the entrance to the Bemidji Community Arena. Very nice. I have to say this is the nicest youth arena I have been to in the past few years. The glass was pro. NHL approved had a very nice tinging sound to it when pucks hit.

The impact was so great it knocked off the rear view mirror and split it in two.
My gosh, how complicated. Looking at that I figured it was one of those 19.99 replacements. More like 45o replacement.
Kind of hard to sound horn when horn doesn't work.
Mother Nature kicking the wind around nicely. With no transformation action this winter, any wind we have blows the snow off the prairie and puts it in spots that are getting me excited for the jib season. Snowmobiles packing it down. I checked out Kabekona Korner on one of the trips to Bemidji. Hopefully I can sneak up there sometime and maybe bring Lars along if he comes home.
Tune up ski with Jake this afternoon for the Bemidji Pursuits tomorrow at Buena Vista. BMX track looks tiny with the snow coverage right now. Meet was scheduled for Saturday but cold postponed it until tomorrow. This will make the fourth trip to Bemidge in five days. Nice to have the back roads and can zip up there on these clear roads in 1 hour fifteen so not too bad. Mother Nature tried to put me on the ropes this past weekend with the wind and cold but stayed on top of it and the classic skiing right now, even though it has been below 0 for four days now, is the best it has been all year. Super fast and fun and bomb tracks. I don't normally groom when below -15 on the snowmobile but with full house on the weekend, went out in -23.
