Today has to be the most spectacular day of the winter. The trees were flocked nicely with frost and temps were perfect with no wind. When it is slower during the week, I usually groom during the day which works out fine when I coordinate with the guest which trails they are skiing so the fresh groomed has 4-6 hours to set up. Plus, the stuff that has been groomed the day previous is skiing the best right now.

Grooming on North Loup and walked through the woods down to the edge of Dry lake. Snow was up to my waist. Fun stuff. This is a fun lake to crust cruise on in the spring and the south shore has a nice bank with some good drops...great place to make some singletrack in the future!!

The past two days I have been skiing with Jake. Today we skated with Dylan and it was good with the warmer temps but the classic skiing is the ticket right now. We did intervals and like last time we did hill repeats up Suicide, Jake dropped me. Maybe by March I will come around.
I have a pair of RCS Carbonlite skate boots I want to sell. Post a comment or drop me a e-mail at jrichard@arvig.net if interested. Size 42.5 Have less than 10km on them.
