When head cook Deb is off, like today, Jonell and I cover for her. I usually do breakfast and Jonell covers lunch and we both do supper. Jonell is more creative than I am trying new things and makes some incredible desserts.
Jonell did a tuna salad today similar to that we have had in Mexico and some other nice things with fruit and what not. I didn't get a picture of the super rich chocolate dessert for tonight but it was pretty awesome.
Fruit Loop bars?!?! Cranked out a couple sheet pans for the hockey team.
With the a bit of grooming on order from the fresh snow, had to get a few hours in before cooking breakfast. I had a skate lesson after breakfast and the skate deck looked real inviting but a little dusting after lunch combined with negative temps made it feel like sandpaper and glide was slow. I thought today would of been warmer but Accuweather was right about the cold front being colder than what other forecasts were callling. This has been an active week of blogging. Tonight I should be in bed but I got some new coffee from
Stumptown this afternoon and whenever that happens, I have to americano the fresh roasted..and pay for it later.
