Just got word from Rich Omdahl on a short notice race at the Elk River track next weekend, May 9th. The venue will host a MNSCS race later in the summer. Will highlight in next skinnyski report but here are few details:

The race is on for Saturday May 9th. I normally try to hit Sunday for raceday (people at work and school), but this time too many people are busy for Mother's Day.

Standard Race Procedures for us:

Registration at 10am

Race Start at 11am

$10 Entry Fee

Classes for Women, Rec. Men, & Advaned Men.

Women & Rec. Men do 1 lap

Adv. Men do 2 laps

Laps around 7-8 miles per lap.
