Has a strict dress code with simple pants only to wear with temps in the 90's most likely. I asked Marco if he will be running when he is there but he won't have his running shoes along. Just his boots. He said he might try running with them. A break from running will be good as he will be hungry when he comes back.

My sister and her four boys, my aunt and uncle from New York City and Uncle Dewey from Washington state visiting this week.
We have had great weather this week for visiting outside etc. Talking to Ginger and Stan and the stories from NYC, we live a pretty sheltered life.
As Uncle Dewey said, what one doesn't think of, the other seven will. We are missing Jack and Jens this week as they are at science invention camp with Jonell's sister and it just isn't the same around the house.
Nephew Marco is heading to the Philippines on a mission trip after "boot camp" in Florida first. He left today. Uncle Dewey gave his speech on Commit, Concentrate and Complete as we set Marco off.
Super proud of Marco. Quite the endeavor for a 15 year old. Nice article in the International Falls daily you should check out.

The wind last week brought down more trees than I thought after we got out in the woods. Tons of sticks and branches as well. Probably 50-60 trees down. Not sure since I haven't been on the western or northern trails or to the east which I am sure has 10 down on Bullhead. Jake and I cleared all the trees on the bike course and my dad has been clearing the ones on the ski trails. Next week we will hit it hard clearing what we can. Better to have this now than early December or something. The woods sure have had the screws put to them after that ice/wet snow storm in February and now this wind event. Considering what happened in Wadena, this is nothing.
