Last week Jack attended Italian Camp with the Concordia Language Villages. He had a great time. Learned a few words, met some friends and wants to go back next year.
We lease to Concordia in the summer time and they have Spanish and Portuguese camps here. Next year it looks like we will have Chinese. We had Chinese for a few years back in the late 70's. I have been involved with CLV since a youth, attending camp like Jack at Russian, Swedish, Norwegian and had my first summer job at Bemidji at Norwegian camp washing dishes. Head cook at Norwegian, Swedish, Chinese and Japanese in later years. Great experiences in each application and a great program they are running. They are still enrolling for this summer at all camps and be sure to check them out.
Sunday morning Jake and I went down to Buck Hill. It was hot and humid like I remember Buck Hill. Jake was having a great race moving up to the top 10 and feeling great before flatting on the last lap.
Felt great, had fun and smiles running the bike in. Was a quick race and seemed like we were sitting in the car all day but the trip went by quick.
When you drive through Wadena, the tornado that hit earlier this summer is still very much evident. Lots of work for those folks getting back to normal. Sounds like the arena was okay but they will be skating outside and playing most of their games on the road.
The lake jump is getting a lot of attention. Some of the camp staff were hitting it on Saturday and got this picture from someone on the other end of the lake who was pontooning. We are planning on keeping it set up until the bike race. Told Duncan Weisbrod about it and he said he would bring his little bike up or something anyways but we have a bike here if anyone wants to use it and not take their Trek Fuel off of it!

Maybe I should bring the Pugsley for the jump...I heard that they float!

Something that floats would be good. One of the bikes did get lost for a short while. Afterwards could have a clinic on overhaul for the Pugsley. Rip it up at the BB, B!
