Quite a change in temps this weekend compared to last. Remaining dry which has been great for getting ahead of the trail work. Hasn't been many Octobers like this one with such dry conditions and no all day soakers. The ski and mtb trails are in fantastic shape this time of year. Typically if it rains in October, it takes 1-3 days of drying before you can get back on the trail than you get behind that many days and the usual soakers on top of that delaying progress.
Sunday morning we had our hardest frost of the year so a quick morning frost ski before church was on order.

Big time mowing this month. My dad has been hitting it hard. With the leaves coming down early this year, we have been able to blow the leaves on pretty much all the trails, including all the mountain bike trails making for some great riding. Usually we might have a week to blow leaves before snow comes. Definitely ready for November snow this year. Thinking we are due with October the way it has been.
